
General Strange Hall and the Fitness Staff at CFB Shilo offer a wide range of fitness programs, fitness testing, military training programs, workshops, seminars, specialist training camps and certification courses.
The Vision of the Canadian Forces Health and Physical Fitness Strategy is to “provide the ways and means for every CF member to attain and maintain their personal health and physical fitness sufficient to meet CF operational requirements.”
The strategy is also intended to expand the target clientele of the health and fitness programs by including Regular and Reserve Force members, Veterans, retired CF members, and their families.
The military fitness program is described in DAOD 5023-2 and military sports in described in CFAO 50-3.
