Special Events

PSP and MFRC organize or participate in a number of Community Recreation Special Events.

Community Volunteer Appreciation - PSP joins forces with the MFRC in April to recognize community volunteers at Borden.

Family Day - Community Recreation hosts Family Day activities such as family skating, family bowling, recreational swimming and arts and crafts. Activities take place between 1000 – 1630 hours. All activities are free to Defence Team member and their families.

Winter Carnival – PSP Community Recreation organizes an annual winter carnival which allows families the opportunity to utilize the Buell facility and enjoy the pool which features a waterslide, Tarzan rope, water trampoline and many other toys. The carnival also features mini golf, face painting and crafts.
