EXPRES bookings (20 MSR) are every Tuesday from 0830-1030. Step tests are conducted Monday's & Friday's with appointments at 0900, 1000 & 1100. Other testing days can be scheduled by individual units. To book your EXPRES test contact your unit EXPRES Coord and/or the ETO section. You must be scheduled for testing, you can not drop in.
Practice EXPRES tests are held the first Tuesday of each month from 0745-0830. This is a great way to evaluate your progress and reduce your test anxiety. There will be a PSP Instructor available to answer any questions and provide assistance. Practice tests are open to all military members and is a drop in service, you do not need to pre-register. Please be at least 5 minutes early as we start promptly at 0745.

- Run! At least a little
- Start slowly, build your endurance. Work on running for 3-6 minutes, then worry about speed
- Intensity counts - Push yourself
- Complete a practice test
- The Shuttle starts at 8.5 km/hr and increases 0.5 km/hr each minute (5.3 mph with increase 0.3 mph each minute). Try it on the treadmill
- If you are a Step Test candidate, work stepping into your training plan
- Complete several sets of Push Ups 2-3 days per week (non-consecutive days)
- Use levels to provide overload
- Don't forget about your CORE
- Practice makes perfect!
- Practice full Sit Ups WITHOUT feet held
- Practice the test protocol periodically
- Remember to train all your core muscles. Don't forget about the lower back
- Sit Ups can be done days of the week - postural muscles, high endurance
