Unit PT-

(Tae Box, indoor cycling classes; STEP; aerobics classes; various circuit training classes with emphasis put on one or more of the following: aerobic, muscular strength and endurance, agility and skill based circuit training.  We also offer power walking, running, snow shoeing; cross country skiing; aqua fit; swimming classes; pool circuits; relay races; sports days; weight room orientation sessions, various sports).  

Fitness Evaluations-

(CF Expres Evaluation – 20 MSR and STEP; Fire Fighter PFMP; all levels of JTF fitness pre screening evaluations; LFCPFS – forced march and evac carry; SAR Entry evaluation; SAR PFMP; Adventure Training pre-screening; Basic Military Swim test; any and all fitness requirements for deployed Ops).  To book your fitness evaluation, please contact your Unit Expres Coordinator.

 Personal Training Services-

Our Staff is qualified to assist all military members in their personal/individual training pursuits.  We can work with the medical Staff after your rehabilitation is complete through physio in that this Fitness Staff will assist you in creating a Bridging program.  This means getting you from where you are now to where you need to be in order to meet the minimum physical fitness standard for the CF.  If you are injured, we can also modify your existing exercise program with guidance from the medical staff so that you experience minimal set backs in your general level of fitness.

Fitness Development Classes-

These classes are specifically designed to assist Military members in meeting the CF minimum physical fitness standard.  Although the goals of this program are aimed at achieving this standard, all military members are welcome to participate.  There is an opportunity to attempt the 20 metre shuttle run the first Tuesday of every month.  This gives CF members a chance to assess their own level of fitness and readiness for their upcoming military fitness evaluation.  It is also a perfect opportunity to have one of the fitness instructors assess the quality of your push ups and sit ups. 

Military X-Training Program (MXP)

Are you looking for a PT class with a little more intensity?  Come out and join the Military X-Training Program (MXP).  It is an advanced fitness class that runs 5 days a week that is geared towards those that have achieved the incentive exempt standard and are looking for a challenging workout.  Open to all military and DND/NPF employees.
