  Top Fuel for Top Performance

Military members and athletes have a lot in common in their quest for top performance. If you are serious about getting the most out of your workouts, it is vital that you regularly supply your body with nutritious food. Healthy eating packs a powerful punch; you can improve your performance by eating nutrient dense foods at regular intervals throughout the day, and by selecting the appropriate fluid and fuel before, during and after your physical activity.

Sessions within the Top Fuel for Top Performance workshop include:

             Session 1: Everyday Eating

            Session 2: Timing of Food and Fluid

            Session 3: Body Composition and Weight Issues

            Session 4: Dietary Issues and Supplements

            Session 5: Fine Tuning Your Eating and Activity Habits

Essentially, the sessions within the Action Workbook and Workshops will help you understand your fluid and energy needs.  The workbook and workshops will also give you information and tools to choose the amount and type of fluid and food you need for balancing your energy requirements in varied situations throughout your life.

 Remember, proper nutrition is fundamental to the "soldier-athlete".  By combining sound eating habits with a physical activity program, you are providing your body with the nutrients and energy to deliver maximum performance.  This will provide you with that winning edge!
