Take a Stand! Family Violence Awareness

 This series is a joint project of CF Family Violence Awareness Committee, Director Force Health Protection and Military Family Support Programs.

 The Take a Stand! Family Violence Awareness series targets the Health Promotion strategy of creating supportive environments and strengthening community action.

 Designed to be delivered in combination or as stand alones, this series of awareness sessions on various issues related to family violence is tailored to meet the needs of a variety of audiences. Whether it is a one hour general awareness session on re-integration for troops returning home after deployment, or 15 minutes on the leaderships role in mitigating family violence in the CF at the Base Commanders Conference, this series can fill the gap.

 The purpose is to increase awareness on family violence.

 Modules will include:

• Family Violence: General Awareness
• Family Violence: A guide for CF Leadership
• Family Crisis Teams: Roles and Responsibilities
