The local CFHA office is located along the main access on Kingsway Road across the street from the CANEX. CFHA is committed to providing trusted and valued housing services for military families across Canada. Our office hours are
0730 – 1545 hours Monday to Friday (excluding Statutory holidays). Our office is closed, however, on Thursday mornings until 0900 hours to allow for our weekly staff meeting.
Our after hours emergency maintenance service provides complete emergency service 365 days of the year. We also offer a self-help service to allow you to make minor repairs or approved improvements to your home.
Our local housing consists of 854 single, double and 4-plex units in four subdivisions. In the past 15 years we have renovated and/or retrofitted a majority of the homes here with maintenance and improvements in excess of $55 million.

Once you have received your posting message you can apply for DND housing through your Brookfield Relocation representative or by completing and forwarding the application on the CFHA website. Your application will become active 60 days prior to your COS date. We attempt to allocate housing approximately 30-45 days prior to your COS date.
Once a home has been allocated, you will be provided additional details to assist in your relocation. Please remember we cannot issue keys to a housing unit without written proof of insurance.

Leaving Cold Lake?
As soon as you have received your posting message or have submitted your release documentation, please contact CFHA to give written notice of intent to vacate and to arrange your pre-inspection and March-out appointments. This must be booked a minimum of 30 days prior to your departure. Your PLC card cannot be signed off until your HU has been inspected for damages, cleanliness, all keys returned and has passed these inspections. Please be advised we must meet with you in person to complete and have you sign the necessary paperwork. At this time you will be required to provide a forwarding address, a contact phone number at your new location and you will be briefed regarding you march-out requirements.
