Do you have a horse and need a place to house it?
Then the OD Saddle Club is the place for you!
OD Saddle Club
- The OD Saddle Club is a military club that was established in 1972. When it was originally formed, there were certain goals in mind, which remain today. The first goal is to stimulate interest in horsemanship and ranch maintenance. The next is to provide an organization through which members can participate in riding activities. Our third goal is to promote horse care and management and lastly, to coordinate riding activities in the area of Cold Lake.

What we offer
Our club is located 3 km out the back gate of 4 Wing, heading towards highway #55.
At the ranch we have: an outdoor riding arena, a round pen, a quarantine paddock, a medical paddock, an equipement barn, a clubhouse and 8 separate pastures, 17 individual paddocks, each with their own stall. We also have a tack room and a hay barn.
Membership fees
- Annual membership fee of $15/single & $25/family
- Monthly paddock rental is $60 for the first horse with an initial $100 damage deposit to be return upon departure (without any major damaged caused by you or your horse(s).
- Each additional horse is only $10/month extra.
- Feed becomes the individual owners responsibility and they must ensure that they have sufficient feed to see their horses through a Cold Lake winter.
