The Fitness Cell offers a variety of classes throughout the workday free to both Military and DND/NPF civilian personnel. Rec Pass holders are also welcome to attend the classes for a nominal fee if space permits.
Body Pump: This class focuses on improving core strength using light weights and high repetitions. Ideal for all levels to improve muscular strenth, endurance and overall body posture. Click here for schedule.
Boxercise: This is a fun, stress busting activity to suit everyone who wants to enjoy boxing training without getting hit. Boxercise is a very effective form of cross-training.

Fit 101: This class is for beginners to improve overall strength and endurance. It uses a variety of exercises and locations in preparation to reach your next fitness level.

Outfit: Outdoor fitness will offer a variety of workouts. All classes will be run outside (weather permitting). This is an ideal program for anyone looking to improve overall strength and agility, and individuals looking for ideas to compliment their current fitness regimes. All levels welcome. Speed, Agility & Quickness: Optimize your level of performance in any sport with training for Speed, Agility and Quickness. Advanced drills and workouts for developing the skills to move with the switfness and power you need to excel in sports.
Seasonal - winter months only!
Spin: Spin uses specially designed indoor bikes and incorporates interval training, strength drills and endurance rides plus hill training and race sprints. This is a great way to improve cycling fitness in a traffic-free environment. Click here for schedule.
Stretch: Improve overall flexibility and posture. Excellent for those recovering from or preventing injuries and individuals wishing to complement current fitness regimes.

Swim Class: This fitness class is a great opportunity for all abilities to work on swim technique while also improving cardio and strength. Structured swim workouts focus on speed, distance and technique, paired with in-water and dryland circuits.

TATP: The tactical Athlete Training Program is a periodized program that trains all fitness components and energy systems in order to achieve desired fitness and skill outcomes to keep up with operational demands. One session per week under the supervision of a certified TATP instructor. Click here for schedule.
Ultimate Frisbee: A great work-out while playing a fast pace sport. All levels of experience are welcome. Games will be played on the soccer field behind the gym.

Yoga-Stretch: Come to relax and unwind while increasing your range of motion, strength and flexibility. This class will be beneficial to performance athletes and to those who are just starting an exercise regime. Click here for schedule.
EXPRES Prep: For those members who did not meet or are concerned they may not meet EXPRES standards, this class is for you! Twice weekly sessions focus on improving cardiovascular fitness and muscular endurance/strength to help members achieve their EXPRES standards. Click here for schedule.
