Workshops – ASIST, Stress: Take Charge!, Top Fuel for Top Performance Go through the training cell or Unit POC, nominated according to the unit protocol and course loaded. All courses run during work-time. Because members are loaded by the training cell/ chief clerk or other designate, it is assumed that permission to attend has been granted.

HOW DO WE REQUEST A BRIEFING FOR OUR UNIT?

Program Request

The Unit POC completes the Programming Request Form (call 973-4011, local 6146 to request one). The form is completed either:
• electronically and sent to the HP Admin Assistant by email, or
• by hand and returned to the HP Admin Assistant in person, by mail, or fax

HP reviews the form to confirm instructor availability, location booking, timings, AV equipment, course load and choice of briefing/ workshop topic. Topics include, but are not limited to:
• Introduction to CFB/ ASU Edmonton Health Promotion
• Suicide Briefing
• Stress Briefing
• Nutrition/ Sports Nutrition Briefing
• Combinations as requested, with timings ranging from 45 minutes to three hours

The completed/amended form will be returned to the Unit POC for final confirmation.

DOES HEALTH PROMOTION PROVIDE 1-TO-1 COUNSELLING?
Health Promotion programs and workshops are provided as education, awareness and prevention resources. It is not a treatment program and does not provide 1:1 counselling. We can support you in finding appropriate CF or civilian health resources.
