Formation Fun Day

How fun! Celebrating Navy life on Canada’s west coast.

In August, Formation Fun Day united over 1,500 members of the local Defence Community to learn about, experience, and celebrate Navy life. Our annual celebration at CFB Esquimalt is popular among members, civilian employees, and their families. With a long list of games, prizes, and military exhibits, who could resist!

In 2010, Formation Fun Day celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the Canadian Navy - and what fun we had!

Thank-you to everyone who stopped by and participated in our skill-based games for children and youth; leisure activities and rides; roving and main stage entertainment; naval-inspired challenges; adult contests; and, learning opportunities. We hope you enjoyed your day together and learning more about the Canadian Forces at CFB Esquimalt.
