Aquarius Scuba Club Caution! Scuba diving can be addictive.
After 25 years, Aquarius has grown to become the largest active dive club in the Canadian Forces. With a 24-foot custom built aluminum boat (the Aquarius II), 10 divers can take advantage of a variety of courses.
Entry level "Basic Open Water" through "Divemaster" training is available at an affordable rate compared other programs. Specialty in Enriched Air/Nitrox, Wreck Diving, Drysuit Diving, and Photography are also available at the Naden teaching facility/clubhouse - with pool sessions held close-by too.
Club members take part in frequent boat and shore dives (with their dive buddies - an essential partnership for new and experienced divers), multi-dives, and family-oriented weekend getaways to terrific Vancouver Island locations, such as Race Rocks, 10 Mile Point, and the wrecks of the HMCS Mackenzie and GB Church.

Ranch Point Boat Club Come to beautiful Nanoose Bay and enjoy the finest power or sail boating along the coast. When not at sea, club members can be found maintaining the floats or cleaning up after the river otters - seven of whom have applied for associate membership. Who knew owning a boat could be so fun?

Kayak Club Whether Ocean or Whitewater kayaking, the Kayak Club emphasizes safety and rescue techniques.
Members are trained in basic kayaking (included in the membership fee - $50 for military and civilian DND employees and family). After the two-day course (at the Naden pool and on the ocean) members can sign out a kayak from our 20+ fleet. Plus, club members enjoy pool access on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (except during basic course training) to hone paddling skills, or learn the popular Eskimo Roll!

Canadian Forces Sailing Association (CFSA) Military and civilian sailing enthusiasts of the CFSA are an active, committed group who enjoy casual sailing, racing, and socializing!
Members are granted priority access to the 100 berth, full service Marina at Munro Head - as well as a fleet of 420's, Albacores, OPTIs, and Laser IIs for training and racing activities, and clubhouse availability for social events.
The CFSA shares it's passion for sailing through a summer Learn to Sail Program for beginner (age 7+) to expert levels - plus instructor and cruising courses, and is home to the Victoria Branch of the Disabled Sailing Association of British Columbia.

Power Boat Club The CFB Esquimalt Power Boat Club promotes family-oriented, safe boating, as well as marine conservation all while enjoying life on the west coast!
Work Point Barracks are the home to club amenities, including mooring slips, storage compound, servicing bays, and the clubhouse - plus 100 berths for powerboats up to 30' long - with priority status for serving Canadian Forces members (other members placed club seniority). Four major fishing derbies and barbecues (featuring free entry, cash prizes and participant awards) are annual member highlights.

Amateur Radio In the event of disaster, the Base Amateur Radio Service (BARS) is there to help. Their well-equipped station, sizeable antennas for HF and VHF operations, and repeater station with auto patch enable the club to provide emergency backup communications.

Work Point Community Garden Club
Get your hands dirty! Watch your vegetable garden grow, or keeping your beautiful with fresh flowers - all in without giving up your own backyard. The Work Point Community Garden plots (located at Anson and Munro Streets in Esquimalt) are the best 15' X 15' or 30' X 30' place to test out your green thumb. All military family (and some community) requests are accepted.
