Outdoor Facilities

Soccer Pitch and Softball Diamond -The soccer pitch is located on Loring Drive, and the ball field is located behind the base gym.   Please contact our Fitness & Sports Coordinator George Tasedan at 709-896-6900 Ext. 7904 for information on use and rental of these fields.

Tennis Courts - We have four tennis courts available for use by military and defence team members. The courts are located on Kittyhawk Road behind the Billy Biship Centre (Bldg. 377) You may sign out the key at the base gym. For more information call the Base gym at 709-896-6900 Ext. 7708

Outdoor Rink - The Community Council is responsible for the management and operations of the rink. It is located in Veterans Park on Lahr Blvd., 5 Wing Goose Bay. The Community Rink is a privilege provided by 5 Wing Goose Bay for community enrichment and the enjoyment primarily by military and defence team members.  For more information contact Capt Chris Greaves at 709-896-6900 Ext. 2399.
