14 Wing Medical Services are provided by 26 CF Health Services Centre located in Building 13, Administration Drive. Daily hours of operation are 0730-1600 hrs, Monday to Friday, with Sick Parade from 0730-0900 hrs. The clinic doors open at 0720 hrs Monday to Friday. Sick parade is followed immediately by booked medical appointments.
All appointments can be booked by calling 765-1494 ext 1958. Personnel requiring urgent medical care after hours are advised to report to the closest civilian hospital. Emergency medical care (life or limb threatening) is accessed by dialling 911 during both working and non-working hours. Please remember to bring your Blue Cross Card with you when accessing civilian medical care.
If you are seeking medical advice you can call the Canadian Forces Member Health Information Line at 1 877 633-3368. Please notify the Medical Clinic of any medical care received after hours so your medical records can be updated. Routine Order 2/2004 will provide more information on accessing Military Health Care as well as reimbursement for prescriptions after normal duty hours. 1 Dental Detachment is located in Building 14 attached to the Medical Clinic and across from the Annapolis Building. The Dental Clinic hours of operation are 0745 - 1600 hrs Mon - Fri. For dental emergencies Monday to Friday, patients are required to report to the dental clinic at 0745 hrs for sick parade. For after hour emergencies, members are required to call the Wing Ops Duty Center at local 765-1494 extension 5457 to contact the duty dental personnel.
14 Wing personnel are required to contact the dental clinic to book their annual exam in or around the date of their last appointment. IAW QR & O 35.03 and CFAO 35-2, it is mandatory for all members to complete an annual exam as required from 1 Jan to 31 Dec of the calendar year. Dental appointments are booked by calling local 5241. Scheduled appointments are a military duty and require 24 hours advance notice for cancellation of that appointment.
