The Annapolis Mess is unique in its operations and the envelopment of three Messes. The building provides the structure, administration and function coordination for Mess activities. The Messes act as separate entities under the guidance of the Annapolis Council, however, each PMC is responsible to their membership for direction, finances and activities.
The Mess membership is composed of approximately 2000 Regular and Reserve members of all Ranks in addition to 145 Social Associate and Retired Associate members. The Mess is designed in a way that it offers the opportunity for all Mess members to either gather within their own respective Games’ Room or Lounge or to combine all ranks in the Back Bar, our popular all ranks pub type bar.
The Mess holding capacity is 921 and each lounge can comfortably accommodate 150 people or the three lounges can be open into one gigantic lounge that can comfortably accommodate 500 members and guests in a non-smoking environment.the entire building is wheelchair accessible. The Mess also offer wireless internet throughout the building. The Mess has much to offer to all members ie; Friday’s TGIF, Karaoke or Back Bar band night.
We also offer In-House event planning, either for large, small, military or private receptions. We offer bar, catering, and entertainment planning to suit all needs. Because of our highly trained staff and state of the art audio-video equipment, we also host meetings, and training sessions of all sorts and sizes.
