Starting back in 2007, the Government of Canada will allow a non-refundable tax credit on eligible amounts of up to $500 paid by parents to register a child in an eligible program of physical activity. Don't throw out your program receipts.

Canadian Tire believes all kids should have the chance to run, skate, play and grow. That's why they have created Canadian Tire Jump Start, a community based charitable program from the Canadian Tire Foundations for families that helps kids in financial need participate in organized sport and recreatioanl activities.
