The Niobe Room is the official home of Navy sports memorabilia. Named after HMCS NIOBE, the first cruiser to be commissioned on the East Coast in 1910, and the first unit to field competing Navy sports teams locally, the Niobe is located upstairs in Stadplex just off the running track. It contains four oak display cases that hold trophies, cups and plaques commemorating events and championships in sports ranging from hockey to rowing, volleyball, shooting, and football.

The walls are decorated with sports equipment as well as photos of teams and athletes from throughout the history of the Navy.

The Niobe Room is a place where current CF members can study the Navy sports legacy and enjoy a glance at the past.
