The Forces in Motion programs and classes are available to all military personnel and are designed to help individuals and units get fit, stay fit and lead a healthier lifestyle. Forces in Motion Fitness classes are available through Stadplex, Fleet Fitness and Sports Centre and Shearwater Fitness and Sports Centre. Please see the list below for Fitness Class times and locations.
A CF member that is unsuccessful in obtaining the MFPS (Minimum Physical Fitness Standard) on the CF EXPRES test shall be placed on the compulsory PT program.
Individuals interested in training to prepare for their upcoming CF EXPRES test are also welcome to attend the compulsary PT classes.

Spin – A fun and challenging cardiovascular workout on stationary spin cycles. Get an added energy boost in the middle of your day and get ready to sweat with this cardiovascular workout!
Ultimate Fitness – Are you looking for a full body workout that pushes you to your limit? This class utilizes a variety of training equipment and methods to provide you with a total body workout. This is the ultimate workout for those who strive for ultimate fitness.
Other Regularly Scheduled Classes
EXPRES Prep – This is a compulsory PT class for individuals that were unsuccessful meeting the minimum standards on their last EXPRES test. The class is also open to military members that are preparing for an upcoming EXPRES test. Why not try for the Incentive Exempt level this year?
Water Works – Not just another lane swim. Our Instructors will post challenging workouts that can be completed in the pool to give you a non-impact total body workout. Sept 14 – Dec 16.
Intro to the Weight Room – This workshop will introduce you to a combination of machine, free weight, and body weight exercises that can be used to improve muscular strength and endurance. Our instructors will give you the confidence and knowledge needed to workout safely and effectively in the weight room, as well as provide you with your own personal program. Classes run every two weeks as necessary (based on registration) on Wednesday mornings from 0730 - 0830.
