Formation Hospitality Services is responsible for the operation of all DND Accommodations, Messes and Food Services within Halifax and Shearwater.

Halifax Junior Ranks’ Accommodations
The accommodation reception desk is located on the first deck of Atlantic Block (S-21). The reception desk and phone is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Personnel booked into Wellington House, Atlantic Block, St. Laurent Block and William Hall check-in at the Atlantic Block reception desk.

Juno Tower or Russell House Accommodations
Personnel may check-in at the Juno Tower Front desk located on the 2nd Floor. This reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Bookings may be made by Petty Officers Second Class and above, as well as RCMP in the area for official business.

Shearwater Accommodations
Keys for officers’ quarters (Building 65) and Warrior Block may be picked up in the Warrior Block accommodations office during regular working hours. After working hours, keys may be picked up at the Duty NCO’s office (Room 1606) in Warrior Block.

Family and VIP Suites
The Accommodation section offers a number of family and VIP suites. VIP suites are open only to Captain (Navy) and above. The family suites provide a home away from home for single members with dependent(s) and the families of married unaccompanied DND quarters residents. Demand for these facilities is high and availability is limited.
