Over the last four years, Trident has continued to expand to offer more ways to allow your messages to be seen throughout CFB Halifax. Our graphic design service, Trident Studios now offers professional graphics for everything from digital advertisements to full-colour posters and flyers. As a full publishing house, the team of industry experts is able to produce every type of publication from newsprint to perfect bound glossy magazines. It is everything you've come to depend on from the Trident.

The nationally acclaimed Trident Military Newspaper has been bringing the latest in Navy news to military personnel in the Halifax area since 1966. Its pages are filled with not only current news items as they relate to the Canadian Forces' domestic and deployed operations, but also sports, recreation, and health related columns. Over the course of a month, you will find human interest stories, book reviews, historical observances, special features, community information and a large variety of local and national advertisements. Trident also offers advertising opportunities on 18 digital screens located in many facilities around CFB Halifax. The Trident is distributed free to military and civilian personnel of DND and arrives on bases and stations within the Command every second Monday. To ensure the news gets out to where it should be read first, it is sent to all ships on the East and West Coasts, as well as bases and stations across the country, peacekeepers serving abroad and international military attaché offices. It is also distributed widely within Formation Halifax, Shearwater and to select off-base civilian establishments.
