PSP supports a full range of skating activities from hockey to open skates at both the Shearwater and Shannon Park Arenas. For more information on skating activities, clubs or arena rentals, please select an option from the list below:

General Public: $4 per person $10 Family
Military/Rec Pass Holders/ages 5 years and under: FREE
The Shearwater Skating Club offers excellent skating times (we run sessions 7 days per week) and prices for all aspects of Figure Skating and Learn To Skate. We have an excellent club atmosphere and we work well as a team. There are a number of coaches that work for the Shearwater Skating Club as well as a group of coaches from other clubs that join our sessions with their skaters.
This club is open to Military Members and Civilians alike. Our registration is usually in August, however, we take registration throughout the year.

- Take the Mackay Bridge to the Dartmouth side of the harbour
- Continue on HWY-111 N for about 11km
- Turn left at Pleasant St
- Continue on the same road as it becomes Eastern Passage Rd
- Turn left at Corsair Dr
- Turn right at Banshee Ave
- Turn right at Swordfish Dr
- Turn left at Boundary Rd.
- You will see the Shearwater Gym on the left and parking on the right. Just past the Gym on the same side of the road you will see shearwater arena

Shannon Park Arena
- Take the MacKay Bridge to the Dartmouth side of the Halifax harbour
- Take exit 1 for Princess Margaret Blvd
- Turn left at Princess Margaret Blvd
- the first building on the right before you cross the rail road tracks is the Shannon Park Arena
