
Since its inception in 1986, the Navy 10K has focused on the spirit of competition and esprit de corps.
The flat course suits all ages and levels of athletes from beginner to advanced. Water stops are set up along the route. The Atlantic Chip Timing System ensures accurate timings for all runners.
When: Sunday 18 August, 2013
Time: 0800 HRS - Kid's Run
0915 HRS - 5K & 10K Runs
Where: Races begin at the Maritime Command Museum entrance at CFB Halifax on Gottingen Street.
All participants will receive a dry-fit shirt in their race kit.
There are category awards, refreshments, a well-organized route, and a continental breakfast after the race. The Navy 10K brings people from all over the country, and is always a great success. Awards are for 1st place in each age group, male and female, in each event.
Team Soldier On
The Navy 10K is an inclusive event welcoming all abilities to participate. The route is flat and level making it friendly for those new to running and those using scooters, hand cycles and wheelchairs. Please register with team Soldier On to walk, run or roll in the 5K or 10K events.
