Welcome to

CFB Kingston Yacht Club

Originally founded in 1954 as the Kingston Squadron of the Royal Canadian Naval Sailing Association, the Club became the Kingston Squadron of the Canadian Forces Sailing Association with the unification of the armed forces in 1968.

In 1987, the Canadian Forces Base Kingston Yacht Club (CFBKYC) was established under the authority of the Base Commander, CFB Kingston as a recreation club and serves as a recognized association of CFB Kingston personnel, their dependents, and other eligible personnel who are interested in the safe operation of watercraft.

Today, CFBKYC offers CFB Kingston personnel and their family an opportunity to learn to sail through its Learn to Sail (LTS) program.
