Supervisor Training (1 day)
The goal is to target supervisors as an essential link in the prevention of drug misuse, to increase policy adherence and decrease the incidence of misuse and addition. The intention of the training is to inform supervisors how to identify and address existing addiction issues within the unit and to proactively foster an addiction-free work environment. In addition, supervisors are responsible for being aware of and taking appropriate administrative action in accordance with CF policies. (CF Drug Control Program Manual)

- How to identify substance use problems
- CF policies around drugs & control
- How to take an active role to reduce alcohol misuse
- Resources (DND & Civilian) available to help
This course is mandatory for all Supervisors to complete during their career. Members' MPRR is updated upon completion. Open to MCpl and above, and Officers.
General Awareness Topics:
Ideal for annual drug awareness training (QR&O 20.05). Timing is flexible from 1-2 hours.
