Membership Definitions

Memberships for the Recreation Associate Council (RAC) are available to both the military and civilian community.  Memberships are defined as such:

Regular Members

  1. Members of the Regular Force and their dependants
  2. Members of the Reserve Force while on Class B or C reserve service and their dependants
  3. Foreign military personnel on duty with the Canadian Forces in the London area and their dependants
  4. Dependant members on military personnel posted outside of London under Imposed Restriction

Ordinary Members

  1. Civilian servants employed within Department of National Defence in the London area and their dependants
  2. CFPFSS and NPF personnel employed within Department of National Defence in the London area and their dependents
  3. Former members of the Regular Force receiving an annuity under the Canadian Forces Super Annuation act and their dependants
  4. Former Department of National Defence civilian employees within the London area receiving an annuity and their dependants
  5. Members of the RCMP living in the London area
  6. Member of the Reserve Force on Class A service in the London area

Note:  Personnel not belonging to the 6 categories listed above may verify their admissibility with A-PA-110-001 / AG-002, chap 6 section 8 para 87.

Associate Members

  1. Any person not mentioned in sub-paragraphs 1 or 2 may be invited with their family to join the London Garrison Fitness, Sport and Recreation Program by a member of the London Garrison Fitness, Sport and Recreation Program and approved by the London Garrison Recreation Council.
