Shooting Club
If you are a beginner with pistols, long-guns, you are most welcome to join the CFB Petawawa Shooting Club. Become a member an d fire your weapons on the range. We use the military ranges and trained Range Safety Officers provide a secure environment for you to enjoy this out of the ordinary and fun sport. Join our dynamic club and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow shooters. Don't forget your CAC Card.
Regular membership is open to all DND personnel and their dependents. Anyone else would qualify under the "Associate Membership" status if our associate membership quota is not filled. An associate member must be sponsored by a regular member. Those under the age of 18 years cannot join, but may shoot for free when accompanied by a member.
NO 40 or 45cal pistols allowed or black power
Guests/Visitors are welcome and must get a "Vistor Card" from the Senior RSO prior to showing up at the range.
The Shooting Club membership is $25.00 annually for holders of the Community Access Card (CAC). A one club membership is available at the Recreation Complex if you do not wish to purchase a full CAC membership.
WHAT TO BRING TO A SHOOTING DAY
-APL or POL card and your shooting club membership
-Your weapon(s) and ammunition
-Ear protection
-Paper targets with stapler gun or thumb tacks
