GENERAL FITNESS & CLASS DESIGN
Physical fitness is an integral aspect of serving with the Canadian Forces. It is important to understand why and how to exercise properly to get the most out of your training. Learn how the body’s structure and function relate to physical fitness, how our systems react and adapt to the various stresses placed on it by exercise and the components of physical training. We also discuss the benefits of proper fueling (nutrition), as outlined in Canada’s food guide. Various components, safety measures and delivery methods of PT will also be addressed to ensure members have a full understanding of class design and execution.

PRINCIPALS OF TRAINING
Take your understanding of fitness to the next level with this advanced informational seminar. We will cover the major components of strength, endurance and aerobic training. We will also focus on other aspects such as rest, overload, progression, frequency and many more important topics. We will take a more in-depth look at nutrition, covering protein, carbohydrates and fats and their role in fueling.
