Canadian Forces Base Suffield

Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Suffield - located just 30 minutes from Medicine Hat, Alberta, CFB Suffield is home to the British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS).  CFB Suffield's mission is to provide a sustainable world class Range and Training Area that enables the Canadian Forces, Defence Research and Development Canada-Suffield (DRDC), the British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS) and other potential users to achieve their mandates through effective stewardship of all the Range Training Areas infrastructure and equipment.

Adjacent to the Base is the village of Ralston, the hub of the CFB Suffield community.  Within the community there are several amenities for the CFB Suffield community to access.  Recreational facilities such as a gymnasium, racquet courts, an ice rink, bowling alleys, a restaurant/pub, weight/cardio room, golf driving range, fitness trails, and retail stores all exist for the enjoyment of the community.
