MFRC CLUBS

The MFRC runs Youth Clubs as per below:

Junior Youth Club - for children eight to 11 years of age.  The club meets at 16 Edgewood Road on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1830-2030 hours.

Senior Youth Club - for chldren 12 - 17 years of age.  The club meets at 16 Edgewood Road on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1800-2100 hours.

Activities include cooperative games, crafting, movies, sports, etc.  Each group also participates in monthly field trips.

The Youth Club staff members are current in a Criminal Record Check, an Intervention Service Check and an Oath of Confidentiality prior to commencing work.  Staff members are also required to maintain current First Aid and CPR training.

POOL PROGRAMS

The Recreation Centre offers swim programs for children of all ages and levels.  These programs teach everything from water safety to advanced stroke correction and endurance. 

Programs run year round with the exception of the period during annual pool cleaning and maintenance.
