The Youth Program is designed to meet the needs of military young people between the ages of 10-18. This program offers onsite services and programs designed to support military pre-teens and youth through a variety of social and educational activities to meet these goals of growth, development and establishing strong relationships and connection. Our program also encourages and supports military youth to connect within their community because it can also be an added resource to them and their families.

TMFRC Youth Program
Our program is located in the Toronto Military Family Resource Centre. It’s a safe and friendly environment making it a great place to socialize with friends and meet new people. We offer two group sessions; pre-teens (4:30-6:30) and teens (6:30-8:30). The sessions are supervised by a permanent Youth Coordinator and on some occasion, have volunteers support.

The Youth Club memberships run from September 1st to August 31st. The fee per military youth is $25.00 a year and $20.00 for each additional youth in the same family. The cost for non-military is $40.00 per youth a year. There is also a drop in fee of $5:00 for youth visiting the program.

Registration fees help us keep the Youth Program running. It allows us to update equipment and games, explore and experience more outdoor excursions, activities and provides a safe environment for youth to hangout with their friends.

Please note applicants are required to first join the Toronto Garrison Recreation Council (TGRC) membership before applying to join Youth Club. Click here for details about TGRC membership categories and fees.
