About the Community Recreation Association

The CRA is the Personnel Support Program (PSP) Community Recreation Association. The CRA is responsible for developing quality recreation programs for members of the Canadian Forces and other members of the military community. Be it an organized activity, casual use of a facility or the opportunity to take a leadership role in a recreation club, the CRA is here to assist you in finding the right activity. You can find the CRA at the RecPlex located at 21 Namao Drive, (beside the Canex & Credit Union), just off RCAF Road in Trenton.

As a military member, you are automatically considered a member of the Community Recreation Association. As you browse the site you will notice different prices for the various programs and services; one rate is for CRA members and a second higher rate is for non-members. So you the military member will always pay the lower rate listed.

Your family becomes a member of the CRA by virtue of purchasing a PSP facility membership. It doesn't matter what type of membership a family member purchases be it for the RecPlex or Gym. Any holder of a PSP facility membership is automatically a member of the CRA.

Other members of the military community who may join the CRA include full-time Department of National Defence civilian employees, (Public & Non-public) and their family members, retired members of the Canadian Forces in receipt of an annuity and their family members. For complete information on other members who may purchase a membership which would automatically make you a member of the CRA, go to Facility Memberships.

For more information on the CRA or to sign up for a class, please call 392-2811 ext 3361.
