VALCARTIER FAMILY CENTRE
The Valcartier Family Centre (VFC) is a non-profit organization that has been serving the military community throughout Eastern Quebec for the past 15 years.
It is a part of the national and international network of Military Family Resource Centres (MFRC).
Here is some of the services the Valcartier Family Centre (VFC) has to offer.
S ERVICES DESIGNED TO MEET THE PARTICULAR
NEEDS AND REQUIREMENTS OF MILITARY LIFE :
• Extended Absence Support (OP OASIS Program);
• Emergency Childcare and Relief;
• Prevention and Intervention;
• Children’s Program (ages 0 to 5 years);
• Youth Program (ages 6-17 years);
• Personal Development and Community Integration;
• Quality of Life;
• Employment Assistance Program (RTW Program);
• Volunteer Action;
• Support for the Families of Reservists;
• Information and Referrals;
• Second-Language Teaching (SLT) Program.
V ARIED ACTIVITIES PROGRAM TO SUIT TO THE TASTES
AND NEEDS OF TODDLERS , CHILDREN, TEENAGERS,
ADULTS , PARENTS AND FAMILIES:
• The focus is on entertainment, fun and prevention;
• The emphasis is on motor skills development, personal growth and value education.

CASEWORKERS AND VOLUNTEERS WHO WORK TO :
• foster individual and family integration into the community;
• encourage the establishment and development of personal relationships (solidarity);
• support persons and help them get through life’s difficulties;
