What is Fitness Development?
Fitness Development is a class organized and conducted by the knowledgeable PSP Fitness Instructors, here at 17 Wing. It is a structured class for primarily those who have not met the MPFS standards of the CF Expres test and are to be on direct supervision physical training. It is also open to those who are preparing for their Expres test or looking for a Group Fitness workout. We, the PSP Fitness Staff, are here to help you meet your needs as a CF member.
Each month a schedule of classes will be posted on our information board located outside the main gym floor, also a schedule is posted on this website at the top of the page. We offer a wide variety of workouts to hopefully meet everyone’s needs. Some of those workouts may include the following: Spin Class, Circuit Class, Strength & Cardio, Specific Expres Training, and Pool Class. These classes are open to all Military Members. You are welcome and encouraged to use them to prepare for your annual Fitness Test.

If you have any medical conditions that you are concerned with, please refer to the Base MO so that he/she can advise us of any limitations prior to the commencement of the Fitness Development classes. It is the members’ responsibility to inform the Fitness Staff immediately of any concerns/limitations they may have during a class.
