The PSP and MFRC organizes or participates in a number of Community Recreation and Sports Program Special Events.
Community Volunteer & Sports Awards -
This annual event recognizes the contributions made by military and civilian members to the military community as well as the accomplishments of the Wing's athletes and sports teams. The Awards banquet was first inaugurated in 2002 in partnership between the 15 Wing PSP and MFRC organizations, which has been recognized nationally as one of the best and most successful programs within all military communities across the CF. Nominations are being sought from all personnel (military and civilian), for a number of categories as follows:

· Family Volunteer of the Year
ATHLETIC / SPORTS AWARDS
· Team of the Year
· Male and Female Athlete of the Year
· Coach of the Year
· Official of the Year
· "Tim Renner" Sports Builder of the Year
Family Day & Open House - PSP works with the MFRC and other Wing and local area service organizations on the last Sunday of August (25 August 2012) to provide the community with information and registration in programs, events and other opportunities families may have interest in.
Prairie Regional Sport Championships - 15 Wing hosts various sport tournaments throughout the year.
Children's Christmas Party - PSP joins forces with the MFRC to organize an annual Christmas Party for the Military Community and their families, first Sunday of December (2 December 2012). 
Royal Canadian Air Force Band Concert - Join us is celebrating the Festive Season with the full Royal Canadian Air Force Band in December.
