Military Fitness
Military physical training is open to all military personnel and units, with the aim being to maximise the operational effectiveness of the CF. In fact, in chapter 22 of the "Chief of Defence Staff's Guidance to Commanding Officers" the CDS, on the Canadian Forces Physical Fitness Program, states "The physical fitness of our soldiers, sailors, airmen and airwomen is an essential and critical component of this increased operational readiness, and of military duty and leadership in general." This is a testament as to how important physical fitness is regarded at the very highest levels of command and indicates that it is to be viewed as a cornerstone of military life, no matter what the member's environment or occupation.

Unit Physical Training

Unit physical training sessions can be led by a PSP Fitness Instructor at the request of the Commanding Officer. Please contact the PSP Fitness and Sports Coordinator at 780-842-1363 Ext 1795 to book the facility AND instructor to lead the session.
