Hockey Day at CFB Wainwiright

On 5 Dec 2011 the annual hockey games took place at the Peace Memorial Multiplex.  New this year was a sledge hockey demonstration and game.  It was a crowd favourite.  Thank you to everyone who took part in the 50/50 draws.  Over $475.00 was raised for the Soldier On Fund.  It was the year of the little guy. The  Privates Team defeated the Corporals and Master Corporals Team, the Warrants and Sergeants Team defeated the Officers Team, and the Civilians Employees Team defeated the Military Team. Thank you to Base Imaging who took photos throughout the day.

Sledge Hockey Demonstration Participants.  The sledges and gear were provided by Sebastian Perigny-Lajoie, Regional Adaptive Fitness Specialist and Richard Stauffer, Fitness and Sports Instructor.  A big thank you to everyone who came out to give it a try.
